I stumbled upon our tiny heart punch this morning and decided that it would be cute to make a heart garland. I thought it would be more interesting if I used a variety of colors and textures and did not just rely on the traditional red, pink and white Valentine palette.
All I did was punch a variety of hearts out and glue them to some rick-rack. I used scraps of decorative paper. You could use all sorts of paper to make these garlands unique. Sheet music, comic strips, tin foil and tissue paper are all materials that come to mind. This is a project that children will enjoy as well.
